My story Naamah’s Ark received first prize in the Open Short Story category of the Boroondara Literary Awards in a ceremony at the Hawthorn Arts Centre last night. See the smile on the above photo? I’m pretty sure it was still on my face when I woke this morning…
I would like to thank Boroondara Council and the Rotary Club of Balwyn for running these amazing awards, which are now in their 20th year. I’d also like to thank judge Ilsa Evans for choosing my story above 765 others.
